This week the wind of change blew us to a new location! ! Since almost a week we are the new Inhabitants of Montauban, a small city (50.000) Which is the capitol of the Tarn and Garonne district, and is situated only 40km from the lovely Toulouse. Our moving was caused by the new job i got (or well... let`s say i`m still hoping to get...cause i'm still on a trial ). I work as a tecnical support for a company that makes telephones, mobiles and accessories...and the nice part of the job is that i get to use(and practice them a lot) all the languages i speak... so cross your fingers for me, so that they sign the longterm contract with me!!!
and the city itself asfar seems nice and pretty, though a bit lazy and (night)lifeless... we will see what the future brings- the one is sure, getting to know the city will not be a big challenge:)

THE FIRST AND MOST IMPORTANT, IS THAT WE HAVE MOVED to Montauban (Montalban in Occitan )! Is a city of about 50,000 inhabitants located in Southwest France. It is the capital and prefecture of Tarn-et-Garonne in the region of Midi-Pyrénées ..... just 40 kilometers from Toulouse.
We moved here because Martha has found a job here, where you can use your mastery of the Danish-German-English-English and French ...... slowly work will be for a minimum of 3 months, but which will extend over time.
buscare I now work here, or follow in the vineyards during the week sleeping in the van or through "couchsurfing" (since this region there are vineyards) But that anger is already seeing over time!
Montauban, tell you that the first impression was very positive, it is a manageable city, bisected by the River Tarn, and a historic center known for its brick architecture. The heart of the city was born in the Plaza El Nacional, worth seeing, and from the rising of the structure of the city. You can stroll through a magnificent park called "Jardin des Plantes", as well as discover different villas to stroll through its streets, but I prefer the view over the river Tarn decorated with the amazing Old Bridge and of course, with its market on Saturday morning!
City founded back in 1144, is privileged to be considered the first Bastida of history, as well as a strong point in Protestantism that dominated so many years France.
addition we are in the Midi-Pyrénées region, where French is spoken in addition to the Occitan ....( Aquitaine was supposed to speak a different dialect of Occitan, Gascon called, but I never heard it!)
