Jewel Casting Couch Full Name

CLOS DE-FAMILLE JOUFFREAU. PREYSSAC-CAHORS VIGNOBLE

On my first day of job hunting in Montauban, I was doubly lucky! found a job first and second, and more importantly, it was in the region of Cahors in Clos de Gamot ...... ! a family vineyard full of history.

of Gamot CLOS is owned by The familliar-JOUFFREAU centuries (there are letters that speak of the existence of the family in 1200) and in 1610 when he built the house in half vineyards, where even today, their descendants and live where I work on Tuesday!, is located in Prayssac, 70 km from Montauban and just 20km from Cahors, on an incredible landscape and the river Lot .....
is a vineyard of 20 hectares or so (in the past had about 60hec), mostly from a single strain, Malbec (native to where I am now southwest France )..... Tell the Story, when the famous "Phylloxera" (a disease that produces an insect parasite that kills vines) attacked the vineyards in 1882, then-owner G. Jouffreau, branches collected from the latest strains preserved during the winters of 1883-1884 and tried several grafts Jouffreau G. ..... so, get something historic, new strains were resistant to the disease! just saved the Clos de Gamot. .... but more importantly, had saved all the vineyards of Cahors! for the region would be transplanted in large part with clones of these new resistant strains.
Yet today there are strains over 120 years old, made entirely unique and exceptional in the French vineyards. (It also, as the owner told me, give exceptional performance yet.)
On the Geology of the land, will also say, a great field, clay-lime-silica, pebbles and flint.
The vineyard is located on the second and third terraces of the river Lot. The land is therefore a result of the accumulation of sediments from part of the Massif Central (pebbles, quartz, gravel) as well as alluvium Lot. A band of red clay through the vineyard of Clos de Gamot, conferring unique properties on this land.
My work here is by an indefinite period may be a few weeks or perhaps something more than a month, in principle, all depends on what it takes to perform the "run of bois" (remove the branches the wire), replace damaged wires guardians, to finish tying the vines to their guides, to begin their new cycle .... Notably
I worked 35h spread over four days, and I stayed there in the van, on the edge of a small oak wood, full of rabbits and birds that made me enjoy every morning when I wake up ..... To end a week of esfurezo, I gave a picnic by the river ... a river Lot, I will try to discover little by little, and the villas that surround me.

So Hector has a new job-close to Cahors, about an hour away from Mtauban: H works in vineyards with whole lotta history ... Written the first words on the vineyards Are From The Beginning of the 13th century, the first Are Documented sources from 1610: The vineyards are special Because Both Their colourfull history (like for example the one about saving vinetrees Clos de Gamot from an ugly pest) But Also Because gelogical Their excellent and unusual location (they say ... but do not ask me nothing ... I dunno!) Well I
just can not wait to see the beautifull lanscapes, Hector was telling me about ... and off course Than I'm counting the days to the big D-day! (degustation day!)

Szorcik: shaggy found its a new job! for a change, only an hour (and not as before 2) loses access ... so I still sometimes stays the night in a blue van. Castle has dluuuuga stories (the first mention of 13W) and wide ... and reportedly told by the owner-teller tastes better ... oh well ... soon find out for yourself the taste of wine and stories from the Clos de Gamot, now I am so glad you like widoczkami eye on the photos!

Wine stirs the spring, grows like a plant of joy. Walls crumble, and rocky cliffs, chasms close
, song is born.
wine opens doors with awe and a haven for the months its
body soaked red wings.
