The Popular Front's electoral victory finally opened the way to a true Republic of workers, which separated church and state, recognized the right of self-determination, land reform, free and secular education and mass literacy programs. Landlords and financial capital could only respond with the fascist military uprising. For me it was a particular day, because in all this region there are many English exiles and many of their descendants, and they do not forget the Historical Memory!, Po I felt very deeply that the Republican sentiment ..... To mark the 80 th Anniversary exhibition I visited Manuel Azana and the Second Republic to organize here in Montauban, the Association ana Cultural Manuel de Leon, MER82-Memorie de l'Espagana Republicaine, Presence of Manuel Azana, the Ministry of the Presidency (Spain) and Conseil General Tarn-et-Garonne.Una presentation based on pictures of ana, his step during the Republic As well as his subsequent exile and death in Montauban.
